Does delivering designs, videos or documents count as software for the EDF?

It can. RBI defines software widely: any computer programme, database, drawing, design, audio or video signal, or other information delivered in any medium other than a physical one.

Software exporters file within 30 days of the end of the invoice month, and can file with their bank or with STPI. The payment-date option is for services other than software. If you are not sure which side your work falls on, ask your bank, and file within 30 days to be safe.
