RBI does not say whether a payment platform counts as a third party. The EDF has fields for a third-party payer, and RBI lets your bank accept third-party receipts when it is satisfied that the transaction is genuine.

If someone other than your client pays, such as a parent company or an agent, declare them in those fields. If you collect through a platform, ask your bank whether it wants the platform named. Banks write their own rules on this, so ask before you file.
